Do you have a story inside you that wants to be told, but feel unsure of where to start or how to craft it? Join me and author Brit Stueven for an introductory workshop to learn how to use writing to heal and build connections.
After spending a little time getting to know each other and partaking in an icebreaker that won’t make you cringe, Brit and I will share a little bit about how we came into storytelling before getting into the three things you’ll walk away with:
+ What story to tell
+ When the time is right
+ What’s yours to tell
Then, you’ll have free-flow writing time (pens and journals will be provided!) and an option to share whatever comes up.
Sound good? Awesome. Grab your seat now because space is limited to 8 participants.
Brit Stueven is the author of Mama Be Present and producer of Moms on the Mic. She is an adoptive mama, coach, author, speaker, connector, and serial creator. She lives for deep talks, AHA moments, and laughing til her cheeks hurt.
When she’s not pretending with her 6-year-old or dancing in the kitchen, she’s writing bi-weekly newsletters, planning storytelling events, and nudging people to chase their dreams.
Are you longing to write a book? She would be delighted to chat with you.
Eunice Brownlee has spent her life telling stories across many mediums. As a multi-passionate creative, she’s used photography, marketing, writing, and public speaking to connect her message to the world. She’s been a cast member for Listen to Your Mother and Reclamation: The Fempire Strikes Back.
Because the heart of building community begins with sharing stories, Eunice uses her stories to connect, heal, and inspire change. Eunice spends time teaching others the craft of story in her speaking and writing practice. She has coached speakers in telling their stories with WomanSpeak and TEDxFolsom.
Think you have a talk in you wanting to come out? Let’s chat more.
